When it comes to charcuterie, Bottlefork really brings it with prosciutto that you will want to keep all for yourself and nduja, which is a spreadable mix of pig parts such as shoulder, tripe and belly with roasted peppers, that is liberally spiced. Your charcuterie plate will also come with a yummy selection of cheeses!

For a small appetizer, you will certainly want to order the popcorn sweetbreads. They have the ideal crisp on the outside and a fiery pepper aioli to pair.

For a more substantial dish, the lamb ribs are superb. They are savory, sweet and tart all in one! Can I have the entire rack of ribs next time?

I love poutine. I love poutine even more when there are braised beef cheeks and squeaky Wisconsin cheese curds involved! I couldn't stop shoveling hearty spoonfuls into my mouth!

But alas, we were still hungry so then came the mussels with a beautiful and smooth Begyle saison beer and ham broth. And in addition to that came the filling potato gnocchi. This vegetarian dish had very cozy flavors that made me want to curl up in front of a fireplace - great timing for the impending winter (or is it already here?)!
